A course focused on practicing the fundamental concepts of digital painting with a realistic approach. Its main objective is to solidify the knowledge of techniques that enable the creation of paintings from imagination.

Artist mindset: How to study and get organized;
Lighting;
Colors;
Materials;
Composition and creativity;
Edges and finishing;
Painting from the imagination;
Demonstrations
Paint-Over (comments on students’ work in class);
Weekly tasks;
Weekly reviews conducted by assistant instructors;
Final project.

Prerequisites

• Basic knowledge
• We suggest that you have basic drawing skills equivalent to those covered in Drawing Fundamentals;
  Basic knowledge of some digital painting software;
